- The modern piano course, which is a cross between classical piano and jazz piano, focuses on rock/pop music and the creation of lead sheets. It develops skills in accompaniment, playing in a group and improvisation, with the emphasis on creativity and listening.
- Accessible from the age of 11

    

## Jazz Piano

- The jazz piano programme focuses on mastering the harmonic and rhythmic language specific to jazz, covering chords, voicings and characteristic cadences. It develops skills in accompaniment, improvisation and playing solo or in a group, drawing on the study of jazz standards and musical interaction.
- Open to students aged 11 and over

- The jazz saxophone class invites students to discover the essence of this iconic instrument, exploring improvisation, harmonic and rhythmic nuances, as well as the interpretation of different jazz styles.

- The jazz composition and arrangement course allows you to explore writing and orchestration techniques specific to jazz, while developing creativity and mastery of the harmonies, rhythms and textures typical of this style of music.

The Conservatoire is home to numerous ensembles, enabling students of all levels to develop their musical skills.
